The MGB G1 is a practical, affordable and easy-to-ride electric moped designed for everyday urban travel. Equivalent to a traditional 50cc petrol moped, the G1 combines a proven 2,000W Bosch brushless electric motor with automatic twist-and-go operation, zero tailpipe emissions and low running costs. Whether you're commuting to work, heading to college or simply getting around town, the G1 makes everyday electric transport simple.

Easy to Ride. Easy to Own.

With a restricted top speed of 45km/h (28mph), the G1 delivers the much better performance than a petrol 50cc moped with intant power  There's no clutch or gears to worry about, making it particularly easy to ride for new riders. As an AM-category moped, it can be ridden by eligible riders from 16 with a CBT or pre-2001 driving license.

Simple Charging. Practical Range.

The G1 is equipped with a 48V 28Ah lithium-ion battery providing a range of up to 52km (32 miles). Charging couldn't be easier, with an accessible charging point built into the scooter so you can charge it without removing the battery, while the removable battery also gives you the flexibility to charge away from the bike when required. MGB quotes a charging time of approximately six hours.

Weighing just 70kg and featuring a low 740mm seat height, the G1 is incredibly easy to manoeuvre and ideal for busy urban environments. A comfortable sculpted dual seat, large grab handles and fold-out pillion footrests also make it practical for carrying a passenger. Under-seat storage provides space for everyday essentials, while the main and side stands make parking straightforward.

The G1 comes equipped with full LED lighting, LED indicators, a clear LCD digital dashboard and a hydraulic 180mm front disc brake with a two-piston caliper. Its automatic twist-and-go drivetrain keeps riding simple, while the combination of zero emissions, low maintenance and extremely low running costs makes the G1 an affordable alternative to a traditional petrol moped.
