Powered by a centre-mounted electric motor producing up to 8.4kW of peak power and 51Nm of instant torque, the LS1 delivers smooth, responsive acceleration with a top speed of up to 62mph. Unlike many electric scooters, its low centre of gravity, centralised mass and maintenance-free carbon-reinforced belt drive provide confident handling and a more motorcycle-inspired riding experience.

The Zero LS1 is equipped with two lightweight, removable 1.86kWh lithium-ion batteries housed within the floorboard, preserving valuable under-seat storage while improving weight distribution. For riders who need even greater range, an optional third battery can be fitted beneath the seat, increasing the maximum city range to an impressive 108 miles. Charging is simple from any standard household socket, with a 0–90% charge taking approximately 4.5 hours.
