The EK1 DS is the Delivery Spec Version of the EK1 L1e (50cc) category moped from Horwin. It features a modern design with a powerful 2.8kw motor. It was created specifically for delivery use to cover longer distances quickly and economically.

This version is a single seater with the rear element of the bike being used to hold a top box platform capable of holding up to 30KG of items and comes with a 72v 40ah extended range Battery.

The EK1 can be ridden from the age of 16 after completion of a CBT(Compulsory Basic Training.) For people who have passed their test before February 2001 they can ride without any further training or L plates.

The EK1 Extended range 40ah option is the perfect option to go that extra mile, with a range of up to 60miles on one charge. The EK1 extended range comes with a powerful 10amp charger that works straight from a standard, household 3-pin plug, making it convenient for everyday use. the extended range 40Ah charging in less than 3½ hours making either of them the perfect commuting solution. The modern, sleek looking LCD display give you all relevant information such as speed, trip, power consumption & battery level.
